Hampshire and Isle of Wight CoVE Network

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight CoVE Network was established in March 2007 following a request from several members of Hampshire and Isle of Wight CoVEs. The network provides a local forum which can address issues that span occupational sectors and add value to the sector specific Specialist Development Groups (SDGs).

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight CoVE Network membership includes representatives of all 16 local CoVEs. The network has quarterly meetings at which the CoVE representatives have a forum to discuss common issues; openly share good practice; and work collaboratively to avoid duplication, bid for and benefit from opportunities and provide potential to share resources and consider joint marketing.

The meetings are facilitated and administered by Aspire Learning with funding provided by the ESF “Action for Business, improving employer engagement “project. At each meeting there will be a guest speaker invited to talk about a specific theme. Key topics for discussion and agenda items will be agreed at the end of each meeting to provide the direction for the following meeting.
