Learner Representatives

A Learner Rep promotes, encourages & supports learning by providing information and advice to help others identify and plan their learning aspirations.

Learner Reps also assist potential learners to access the necessary resources to meet their learning objectives and follow the progress of learners to ensure that they are supported throughout their learning.

Learner Reps are individuals who are trained to take on an additional role of actively promoting lifelong learning within the workplace and encourage people to participate and develop their own learning.

As enthusiastic learners themselves they are keen to pass their enthusiasm on to others. To do this they must be able to access information about learning opportunities both within and outside their organisation.
